Overnight Russia hit energy in four regions, leaving hundreds of thousands without power. Kyiv logged six alerts by morning, and a strike on a dormitory in Vinnytsia killed two, including a girl, and wounded three children.
Zelensky said Ukraine asked allies to lend Patriot interceptors pending deliveries under the $2.1bn deal for 500 missiles, and claimed strikes destroyed $70m in Russian air defenses and hit missile-fuel production, including the Lukoil plant at Kstovo. He also claimed record Russian losses in October.
After talks with Erdogan, Kyiv said Zelensky was ready to meet Putin in Turkey, while Moscow said Putin would answer a call. Washington defended inviting Russia to the G20 and doubted NATO membership or a deal before 2027. Officials said the Oleshky silence ended after 167 more were evacuated, and a hacked alert app sent false radiation warnings.
