Overnight operation to move migrants from Ceuta's beaches to the port camp ended with charges, shots in the air and the camp declared full at around 1,700 places. Thousands returned to the beaches, with over 3,000 left on the street under what El País called law of the strongest. The Audiencia Nacional opened a probe into the port camp as the PP denounced chaos and disaster, criticism joined by Sánchez allies, unions and police against Interior. Inside the PSOE, El Periódico reported unease at losing the battle, while Feijóo pressed for a European vote and the embassy in Rabat warned of calls for another mass entry, though La Razón reported calm in Castillejos.
Prosecutors sent to a judge complaints of abuse of minors in reception centres. Residents protested migrant settlements. Attention also went to Trump's announced permanent security-control deal over Greenland, later qualified by Denmark as shared security.
