Overnight Moscow fired a ballistic salvo at Kyiv, killing two and injuring at least eight, with fires and damage in several districts. Debris fell near a maternity hospital, while warehouses, a Nova Poshta depot and a data centre were hit. The Air Force reported intercepts of Iskander and Zircon missiles, followed by a morning drone wave toward the west. A separate Banderol strike on a farm in Kharkiv region killed six to seven and injured 12.
Zelensky said the US had a chance to respond strongly, declared the Anchorage understandings void and announced agreement on Patriot interceptors. Kyiv said it had obtained Russian plans for energy strikes as a US-mediated trilateral on an energy truce was reported.
