⌨The newspapers report on preliminary results of the third phase of municipal and optional elections in Beirut, Bekaa, and Baalbek-Hermel (Kataeb, LBC, LBCI, Lebanon24). The "Heart of Zahle" list, supported by the Lebanese Forces, is reportedly leading after the counting of 41 ballot boxes (LBC, LBCI). Despite years of crisis, voters in Beirut have shown indifference toward municipal elections (L'Orient-Le Jour). Meanwhile, President Aoun stated that while Hezbollah has the right to political participation, weapons should remain exclusively in state hands (Al Joumhouria).
