Overnight Russia launched a missile and drone barrage on several cities. In Zaporizhzhia a drone destroyed a house, killing two, while fires were reported in Dnipro and Kryvyi Rih. Focus settled on Odesa, where a hit on a block first wounded 16, rising through the morning to 35-38 including an infant, with two unaccounted for.
By afternoon the attack widened north and west, continuing the station campaign from 11 September with a strike in Rivne region. Russia hit Zaporizhstal with four ballistic missiles and struck trains at Lutsk, Fastiv and Kovel stations, wounding five in Volyn. Officials counted over 400 drones and impacts in 20 locations, prompting Poland to scramble aircraft.
